If you appreciate high-quality craftwork made by talented artisans from the Midwest and beyond, we hope you’ll join us at the 2016 Winter Glory Fine Craft Show, now in its second year at this spacious and warm venue just minutes southwest of downtown Milwaukee.

Imagine a charming country manor on wooded grounds overlooking a lake, bedecked for the holiday season with lights twinkling and soft music playing, with plenty of close, free parking. Relax as you enjoy shopping for artful accessories and beautiful home décor for yourself and for everyone on your gift list! This is the Winter Glory Fine Craft Show!

Winter Glory brings together the finest handcrafted work in one comfortable venue where patrons can meet and talk with artisans and learn more about their processes. You’ll find artwork in many styles to fit all budgets and tastes – ceramics, textiles, glass, metal jewelry, beadwork, leather accessories, photography, prints, sculpture, woodwork, mixed media, digital art, and more.

This late November event is the counterpart to the WDCC’s summer favorite, the Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair, held in August off the Riverwalk in downtown Milwaukee. Comments from last year's show were lavish in their praise of the quality and affordability of the art, the warm welcoming ambiance of the venue, and the relaxed atmosphere that encouraged interaction with the exhibiting artists.

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Winter Glory Fine Craft Show for the 2nd year at the Polish Center of Wisconsin. This charming location is designed in the style of a Polish country manor. Comprised of beautiful architecture and picturesque great rooms, all overlooking spacious landscape and an incredible lake view. The Polish Center has plenty of ample FREE parking. It comfortably accommodates 47 booths, (31-8x8, 16-4x8) with a wide aisle layout allowing for plenty of accessibility to all booths. Social gathering areas, as well as food and beverage options create a fine craft show with a festive spirit.

The Winter Glory Fine Craft Show is open to any and all fine craft artists18 years or older working in ceramics, digital art, enamel, fiber wearable, fiber non-wearable, glass, jewelry-metal, jewelry non-metal, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture or wood.

The Friday / Saturday show format allows us to offer your buying crowd a fine craft shopping experience that will not conflict with the Wisconsin die hard Sunday (Packer or Badger) football fan schedules.

First year at a new venue....first of event of this type for the venue.  And it went off in an outstanding....top this next year, way! Thanks to the outstanding team of WDCC  board members and the Winter Glory Fine Craft Show team who worked to first find a venue, and then put together a show, and pull it off with verve and elegance.

The team, led by Stephanie Bartz, assisted by Ann Wydeven, Joan Kennedy-Weber and Kim Wilson, (below), put this whole thing together. Thanks to Tom at the Polish Center of Wisconsin for his embrace of our ideas and members. His warmth and enthusiasm  throughout the weekend were very evident.

Can things be improved upon? No doubt. A survey will shortly go out to participating artists seeking their input. But all in all. the feedback has been outstanding, and look for this to become another WDCC signature event.

    Thanks to everyone!!!
