If you appreciate high-quality craftwork made by talented artisans from the Midwest and beyond, we hope you’ll join us at the 2015 Winter Glory Fine Craft Show, now in a spacious venue just minutes southwest of downtown Milwaukee.

You’ll enjoy visiting the show’s new home: Imagine a charming country manor on wooded grounds overlooking a lake, bedecked for the holiday season with lights twinkling and soft music playing, with plenty of close, free parking. Relax as you enjoy shopping for artful accessories and beautiful home décor for yourself and for everyone on your gift list!

Winter Glory brings together the finest handcrafted work in one comfortable venue where patrons can meet and talk with artisans and learn more about their processes. You’ll find artwork in many styles to fit all budgets and tastes – ceramics, textiles, glass, metal jewelry, beadwork, leather accessories, photography, prints, sculpture, woodwork, mixed media, digital art, and more.

This late November event is the counterpart to the WDCC’s summer favorite, the Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair, held in August off the Riverwalk in downtown Milwaukee. This new Winter Glory venue is a destination that will be a pleasure to tour during the holiday season, with comfortable social gathering areas and wide aisles for access to the artists and their work – all wrapped in a celebratory atmosphere.

First year at a new venue....first of event of this type for the venue.  And it went off in an outstanding....top this next year, way! Thanks to the outstanding team of WDCC  board members and the Winter Glory Fine Craft Show team who worked to first find a venue, and then put together a show, and pull it off with verve and elegance.

The team, led by Stephanie Bartz, assisted by Ann Wydeven, Joan Kennedy-Weber and Kim Wilson, (below), put this whole thing together. Thanks to Tom at the Polish Center of Wisconsin for his embrace of our ideas and members. His warmth and enthusiasm  throughout the weekend were very evident.

Can things be improved upon? No doubt. A survey will shortly go out to participating artists seeking their input. But all in all. the feedback has been outstanding, and look for this to become another WDCC signature event.

    Thanks to everyone!!!
