DAY TRIP TO THE BIG APPLE
WDCC members and guests participated in a New York tour. Accompanied by Karen Bergenthal of East Town Travel in Milwaukee, the group flew via Midwest Express to spend an art-filled day in Manhattan. After visiting the American Craft Museum and Museum of Modern Art, participants took to the streets of Manhattan to have lunch, shop, "people watch," or visit other museums and galleries. It was a glorious fall day in the Big Apple! And everyone has requested a repeat performance - either back to New York for an extended stay (including overnight accommodations and the theatre) or another one-day trip - this time to see the craft museums of Washington D.C. Special thanks to Karen for arranging this trip - we can't wait to do it again! |
